Tests of XTAR 1.5V AA 4150mWh Li-ion battery on https://www.akkuvergleichstest.de/produkt/xtar-aa-4150mwh/. "With 500mA discharge, we test this xtar 1.5V AA battery capacity of 2518mAh and energy of 3574mWh. This impressive record beats all NiMH batteries, alkaline batteries and other 1.5V output Li-ion batteries that we have tested so far."

There is the comparison list of some 1.5V AA Li-ion batteries from different brands:

I was really impressed by the Soshine 3300mWh (2200mAh)1.5v Li-Ion AA batteries when I tested them, and I have been using them in place of NiMh AA ever since.
Now Xtar have sent me some sample of their 2500mAh Li-Ion AA along with a dedicated charger to test. Xtar are well known for their excellent torches, particularly torches for scuba diving, and their batteries have always been of a similar quality.
These are no exceptiom, with an actual measured capacity of 2444mAh.
The charger is also very cool, literally with a large cutaway in the base to allow ventilation around the batteries resulting in no discernable temperature increase in the charger. Charging is indicated by a red/green led above each slot, but also a flashing green led in beside the positive terminal, so no worries for anyone who is red/green colour blind.
Up to the usual Xtar standard in my opinion.
